Chengdu Christian Grace Church, originally named the Gospel Church of the Canada Methodist Church, was renamed Sishengci Chapel in 1933. Located at No. 17 Beijie, Sishengci, Jinniu District, it was originally established by the Canadian Wesleyan Methodist Church. With a history of 110 years, it is the oldest and one of the best-preserved churches among those open to the public in Chengdu. The current church building has been standing for over 80 years and is a key worship site for both local and suburban believers. Designed and supervised by missionary and architect Susie S. J. Smith, it features Bavarian-style German architecture. The church covers an area of over 3,000 square meters, with a usable area of more than 1,200 square meters and a height of about 18 meters. After the implementation of the religious freedom policy in 1980, the relevant authorities renovated the church, which officially reopened on New Year’s Day in 1989.

On May 2, 2018, the Chengdu Municipal People's Government announced it as a part of the Sixth Batch of Chengdu Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.
