Huapo

Huapo Huapo is located in Wangtao Township in the northwest of Qinyuan County and is a famous scenic area in the county. It is called Huapo (Flower Slope) primarily because of its most renowned and distinctive feature — flowers. On the gently undulating slopes, lush green grass and a riot of blooming flowers create a vibrant scene in reds, pinks, yellows... a kaleidoscope of colorful, unnamed wildflowers converges here, with hardly any bare soil in sight. The air is filled with intoxicating floral fragrances. Due to the sparse population, the various unnamed birds here regard every visitor as an honored guest — they warmly greet you, surround you, sing joyfully for you, and dance gracefully for you... A gentle breeze drifts through the mountains, setting the flower-laden branches swaying. At the far edge of the slopes, clusters of white dot the landscape — those are flocks of grazing sheep. The sheep living here lead enviable lives, far removed from worldly concerns, enjoying a leisurely and primitive nomadic existence. They are completely untroubled by the complexities and changes of human society, and never worry about careers or futures.
