Location: 500 meters north of Yanzhai Village, 8 kilometers south of Qinyuan County

Originally the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of the Shanxi Youth Anti-Japanese Death Squad, it was erected on December 15, 1941 (the 30th year of the Republic of China) by the Taiyue Military Region and Taiyue Administrative Office. In 1981, a memorial pavilion was added to protect the monument. The pavilion faces south, is three bays wide and two bays deep, covering an area of 48 square meters, and is built with bricks, stones, and cement. The monument consists of four stone slabs stored inside the pavilion, standing back to back. All four slabs are of the same size, measuring 1.3 meters in height, 0.53 meters in width, and 0.2 meters in thickness. The first slab bears the title of the monument, the second contains the inscription, the third lists the names of over 500 commanders who died in the four-year resistance of the Death Squad, noting a total of 4,879 martyrs who sacrificed their lives, and the fourth features inscriptions by Chen Geng, Niu Peizong, and others.
