Longfushan Mountain

The Longfushan Scenic Area is located within the ecological protection zone of Wujiazhuang Reservoir in the western part of Licheng County, approximately 45 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of 40 square kilometers. The terrain here is rugged, with steep cliffs facing each other, winding valleys, ancient trees providing ample shade, clear streams flowing, and picturesque landscapes. It features natural stone caves, small gorges, ancient temples, and cascading water systems. Throughout the four seasons, springs flow continuously. The vibrant "yellow" of spring, the lush "green" of summer, the fiery "red" of autumn, and the pristine "white" of winter create distinct and complementary scenery, making it a hidden gem for tourism, leisure, and vacation. The area also contains red historical sites such as the former location of the 129th Division’s Armament Workshop, the former site of the Eighth Route Army Headquarters’ Field Pharmaceutical Factory—the birthplace of the first Bupleurum injection—as well as the former site of the Eighth Route Army Headquarters’ Supply Department. Scenic spots include Swamp Dragon Cave, Laojun Cliff, Phoenix Terrace, Solitary Beauty Peak, Reclining Dragon Pool, and Sky Ladder.
