Longmatan District Aqueduct Group

The Longmatan District Aqueduct Group is a cultural heritage protection unit of Luzhou City.

The Longmatan District Aqueduct Group (including Jiadanwan, Yonghe, Baoziyan, Huangnibao, Shengli, Banzhuwang, Wanlitang, Huzhu, Taiyanggou, Shengtian, and Qunli) is located in Longmatan District and dates back to the 1960s–1970s.

On December 9, 2010, it was announced as part of the eighth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Luzhou City (Luzhou Municipal Government Letter [2010] No. 259).

(1) Protection zone for the Jiadanwan Aqueduct: West (endpoint at 10 meters from Longxi River in Group 2, Yuyantan Village), East (endpoint at 5 meters in the direction of Tuanzhuangzi and Yuheshan toward Wujidi in Group 2, Yuyantan Village), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(2) Protection zone for the Yonghe Aqueduct: West (endpoint at 20 meters in the direction of Waa’ershan in Group 1, Yuyantan Village), Southwest (endpoint at 20 meters downhill in the direction of Huoxingshan in Group 3, Yuyantan Village), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct bridge base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(3) Protection zone for the Baoziyan Aqueduct: Northeast (endpoint at 10 meters from Longxi River Baoziyan in Group 19, Yongyuan Village), Southwest (endpoint at 10 meters beside San Guanyantang near the road in Group 17, Yongyuan Village), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(4) Protection zone for the Huangnibao Aqueduct: Northeast (endpoint at 5 meters in the direction of Huangnibao Wujidi from Longxi River in Group 6, Yongyuan Village), Southwest (endpoint at 5 meters beside Yantang in Group 13, Yongyuan Village), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(5) Protection zone for the Shengli Aqueduct: Southeast (endpoint at 5 meters at Shichangwan in Group 7, Yuzhu Rock), Northwest (endpoint at 5 meters in the direction of Ranfangtou Wujidi in Group 7, Yuzhu Rock), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(6) Protection zone for the Huzhu Aqueduct: Northeast (endpoint at 5 meters at Zhulannao in Group 1, Shunjiang Village), Southwest (endpoint at 5 meters at Zaiziba Yantangwan in Groups 5 & 6, Yongshou Community), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(7) Protection zone for the Taiyanggou Aqueduct: Northeast (endpoint at 20 meters beside the road in Group 15, Anmin Village), Southwest (endpoint beside the road in Group 15, Anmin Village), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(8) Protection zone for the Banzhuwang Aqueduct: Northeast (endpoint at 10 meters uphill on the road in Group 5, Caoba, 50 meters ahead is the residence of Liu Shiyun), Southeast (endpoint in Group 5, Caoba, 10 meters ahead is the residence of Zheng Shangkui), and the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(9) Protection zone for the Wanlitang Aqueduct: Northwest (endpoint at 10 meters uphill on the road in Group 5, Jinlong Community), Southwest (endpoint at 10 meters downhill on the road in Group 6, Jinlong Community), 20 meters northwest is the residence of Qian Zhengxiang. The other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(10) Protection zone for the Qunli Aqueduct: With the aqueduct base as the baseline, starting from the Lai family’s Wujidi in the south to Caituan Mountain in Dachongtou Village in the north, extending 3 meters east and west. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.

(11) Protection zone for the Shengtian Aqueduct: With the aqueduct base as the baseline, starting from the Hezui Longdeng Mountain on the southeast to Tuannianfang Wujidi in Hezui Village on the northwest, the other two sides, with the aqueduct base as the baseline, extending 2 meters outward. Construction control area: Extending 5 meters outward from the protection zone.
