Jijin Wenchang Palace is a cultural heritage site under the protection of Zhongjiang County.

Jijin Wenchang Palace: Located on Zhengjie (Main Street) in Jijin Town, it was built during the Qing Dynasty. Only the central hall remains, covering a land area and floor space of 186 square meters.

Protected area: east to the outer edge of the eaves drip line of the Drum Tower, west to the outer edge of the eaves drip line of the Bell Tower, south to the outer edge of the stone steps, and north to the outer edge of the eaves drip line of the central hall.

Construction control zone: an area extending 5 meters beyond the protected area.

Jijin Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Zhongjiang County. Established as Jijin Township in 1940, reorganized as a commune in 1958, restored as a township in 1984, and merged with Huangjin Township in 1996 to form Jijin Town. It is located in the southeast of the county, 58 kilometers from the county seat. The town covers an area of 28 square kilometers with a population of 22,000. The Fengdian–Guangfu Highway runs through the area. It administers 19 village committees: Wenfeng, Zhongshi, Linghuo, Jubao, Ganquan, Sanyan, Shiqiao, Liushui, Yuquan, Fuyu, Huquan, Xianfeng, Changfeng, Hongcheng, Mingyan, Huangjin, Tianguan, Sancha, and Tianfeng.
