Xixia Scenic Area

Located one kilometer south of Xiachuan Village. The scenic area stretches five kilometers in length and is about ten feet wide, with murmuring streams flowing out and cliffs towering over a hundred meters on both sides. Golden leopards are often spotted on the cliffs. Standing in the canyon and looking up, you can only see a strip of sky. The waters are home to giant salamanders, shrimp, and crabs. The legend of Emperor Shun “splitting the gorge with his sword to create a line of sky, turning highland lakes into fertile fields” originates here. In addition, there are also attractions such as Heavenly Rock, Building Ridge, and Sword-Testing Stone.
