Zhoujiazhai is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
Zhoujiazhai is located in Shangan Township, Pengshui County, Chongqing, situated along the premium section of the Wu River Gallery. It neighbors the ancient town of Gongtan in Youyang and Hongdu Town in Guizhou Province, offering convenient transportation. It is a 40-minute drive from Pengshui County and 10 kilometers from Gongtan Ancient Town. The scenic area spans 20 square kilometers, with forest coverage exceeding 80%. Attractions include the Maze of Strange Rocks, Water-Moon Cave Heaven, the World’s No.1 Sword, and Ten-Mile Flat Lake. Leisure and recreational facilities such as a 10-kilometer hiking trail and a 300,000-square-meter fishing base are also available. Surrounded by clear waters, the area features unique peaks, spectacular rock formations, towering ancient trees, and vibrant Miao ethnic culture, forming a natural painting that integrates mountains, water, rocks, and forests.
