The Daoba Site is located in Bashi Town, Dongfang City, dating back to the Tang and Song dynasties. It is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hainan Province.

Protected area: centered on the middle of the site, extending east to the collectively owned land of the Third, Fourth, and Sixth Villager Groups of Fujiu Village Committee; west to the boundary between the collectively owned forest land and dry land of the Second and Eighth Villager Groups of Shisuo Village Committee; south to the cement highway; north to the forest land of the Fifth Villager Group of Fujiu Village Committee, approximately 487 meters north of the cement highway. The total area is 134,357.6 square meters, about 201.5 mu.

Bashi Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dongfang City and the seat of the city government. Established as Bashi Town in 1957, reorganized as a commune in 1958, and reinstated as a town in 1959. Located in the western part of the city, bordering the Beibu Gulf to the west. It covers an area of 52 square kilometers with a population of 60,000, predominantly Han Chinese. National Highway 225 passes through the town. The railway lines from Bashi to Sanya and from Shilu to Bashi intersect here. The town administers three neighborhood committees—Donghai, Xingang, and Bashi—and six village committees: Bashi, Julong, Huangning, Pocao, Dagupo, and Fuyao.
