Longhuai Cultural Scenic Area

Located within Longhuai Township, 12 kilometers south of Lipu County and 120 kilometers from downtown Guilin, just one kilometer from the “No. 1 Cave in Asia” Fengyuyan, it gets its name from being nestled among mountain ranges that resemble a coiled dragon. Longhuai is the permanent venue of the World Chinese Entrepreneurs International Investment Forum and is known as the “Home of Chinese Entrepreneurs.”

The scenic area boasts natural wonders such as the Yin-Yang Twin Springs, the Magical Guanyin Peak, the Mysterious Valley Divine Pool, and the Ancient Camphor Tree Welcoming Guests. Lush with trees and tranquil as a fairyland, it also features attractions like the Greater China Tablet Museum, the Nature Root Art Museum, the Greater China Longevity Park, and the Chinese Dragon King.

The Greater China Museum Complex consists of six museums: Ancient Plaques, Paleontological Fossils, Ancient Human Stone Tools, Ancient Couplets, Ancient Tickets and Vouchers, and Ming-Qing Wooden Carvings. It holds the largest scale and collection in Guangxi, having amassed over 2,000 ancient plaques, more than 5,000 paleontological fossils, over 500 ancient human fossils, more than 1,000 Ming-Qing wood carvings, and over 1,000 tickets and vouchers from the Ming-Qing and Republican periods.

The Nature Root Art Museum covers an area of 3 mu, with a construction area of over 1,000 square meters, and houses 507 exquisite root art and root art calligraphy pieces. Among them, the most distinctive are the root carvings of the two large characters “Fu (Fortune)” and “Shou (Longevity),” flanked by smaller root carvings of the eight characters “Fu Ru Dong Hai, Shou Bi Nan Shan” (Fortune as vast as the Eastern Sea, Longevity as enduring as the Southern Mountain).
