Silver Dragon Ancient Village

Silver Dragon Ancient Village is located in Malin Town, Lipu County, 85 kilometers from downtown Guilin and 500 meters from National Highway 321. It is one of the best-preserved ancient villages and residential complexes in Guangxi. The village is closely connected to the Silver Cave Scenic Tourist Resort, sharing a harmonious proximity. In 2005, it was designated as a Guangxi Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site.

The ancient village nestles against mountains and beside water, located within a vast natural bonsai-like landscape. It is surrounded by rolling peaks that resemble dragons rising with heads held high, while at its center lies the colorful and graceful Little Green Mountain. At the foot of the mountain flows a clear, green stream, shaded by towering ancient trees, with traditional dwellings interspersed throughout. Towering Chaodao Mountain rises sharply into the sky, complemented by the Yu Column-like Rainy Mountain, creating a harmonious scene. The area is also covered with fruit tree orchards, including thousands of acres of peach and plum trees scattered across the landscape, filling the air with the fragrance of flowers and fruits in all seasons. The ancient village remains largely intact to this day, featuring an ancient temple, historic gate towers, ancient alleys, a beacon tower, and the tomb of Chen Jia, a hero who resisted French forces.
