Guilin Heishan Botanical Garden

Established in 1938, Guilin Heishan Botanical Garden is located at No. 117, Huancheng West 1st Road, Guilin city center. It is conveniently situated near Guilin Railway Passenger Station, Guilin South Bus Station, and the road to Liangjiang International Airport, making it highly accessible. It is the largest osmanthus greening seedling production base in China.

The garden spans over 40 hectares, with a greening seedling production base of 126 hectares. It is a comprehensive institution integrating seedling production, greening landscape construction, science education, and tourism leisure. The garden houses over 210,000 trees of more than 400 species from over 100 families. It features rare plants such as Alsophila spinulosa and Camellia nitidissima. With its distinctive natural landscapes and lush greenery throughout, the garden serves as an urban “natural oxygen bar” and is often referred to as the “Xishuangbanna of Guilin.”
