The 2015 Taipei 101 New Year's Eve fireworks show is about to make a grand debut！ There are 22 romantic and picturesque viewpoints around Taipei 101 where you can watch the fireworks from above. The Taipei City Government's Department of Urban Development invites everyone to hike up together to enjoy the fireworks show and make New Year’s wishes.

The Xiangshan and Hushan trails in Xinyi District, located near the Taipei 101 building, offer prime vantage points for viewing the fireworks, along with well-developed trail facilities. They have always been among the most popular spots for the public to enjoy New Year's Eve fireworks.This year, Xiangshan has added 3 new viewing spots, bringing the total to 14 options for the public.You don’t have to squeeze into the crowded downtown area or worry about being too close to see the full spectacle of the fireworks. Instead, you can comfortably enjoy the dazzling display.

If you're worried about getting bored while waiting for the fireworks, you can also head to Muzha in Wenshan District. First, take the romantic"Hello Kitty" cable carup the mountain to enjoy the night scenery and tea with family and friends, then head to one of the four excellent viewing spots recommended by the Department of Urban Development to catch the New Year's Eve fireworks. Among them, the newly completed "Climbing Trail Telescope Pavilion" is located on a small hill next to Mingde Temple on Laoquan Street. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the Muzha Cable Car Station. Stroll through the cherry blossom-lined paths on both sides of the trail, and in just a few minutes, you can climb up for a sweeping view, taking in the vast beautiful night scenery and enchanting fireworks.
