Nongla Natural Ecological Tourism Scenic Area

Nongla — a model for karst desertification control in Guangxi, was approved as an autonomous region-level ecological nature reserve in 2008. Surrounded by mountains on all sides with continuous peaks and ridges, it preserves well-preserved forest vegetation and a rich variety of wild medicinal plants native to limestone regions. The pristine ecological environment makes it present a beautiful scene of “myriad green hills lost in paradise, boundless green seas in embrace” all year round, making it a true “natural oxygen bar.” The scenic area is mainly divided into three zones: the Science Popularization & Recreation Zone, the Eco-Experience Zone, and the Blessing Culture Zone. Currently, facilities in the Blessing Culture Zone such as the Karst Desertification Control Exhibition Hall, Vajra Potala Temple, Visitor Center, and Juyuan Hotel have been completed and opened to the public.

Guling Town: Guling Town is located in the eastern part of Mashan County, at the northern foot of the Daming Mountains. It borders Xiyang and Zhendu Townships of Shanglin County to the east, adjoins Bishan Town to the west, neighbors Liangjiang Town of Wuming County to the south, and connects to Jiafang Township and Guzhai Township to the north.
