The former residence of Wei Chengpian is a cultural relics protection unit of Mashan County.

The former residence of Wei Chengpian is located in Jiangzhuang Village, Pingshan Village, Yongzhou Town, Mashan County. It dates back to the Republican era and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

In 2011, the former residence of Wei Chengpian was designated as a cultural relics protection unit of Mashan County.

Wei Chengpian, also known as Wei Yaode, nicknamed "Baitouweng" (1892–August 1938), was of the Zhuang ethnic group and a native of Jiangzhuang Village, Zhouxu Township, Nama County. In his youth, he left his hometown to join the military and served as a platoon leader in the Old Guangxi Clique army. He realized that he could not fulfill his aspirations to save the nation and its people while remaining in the old army.

In 1921, he returned to his hometown and taught at Jiangzhuang Primary School. In 1926, he taught at the Third Higher Primary School of Nama County (Zhouxu).

In April 1927, the Communist Party organization in the Right River region sent Huang Shuxiang to Zhouxu Township, Nama County, to carry out revolutionary activities and stayed at Wei Chengpian’s home.
