The Huanjiang Ox-Horn Waterfall Scenic Area is a newly discovered eco-tourism waterfall cluster in Huanjiang County in 2009. It earned the name Ox-Horn Village due to the discovery of numerous ox-horn-shaped fossils in the area. Currently, the Huanjiang County Tourism Bureau is investing in environmental improvements.

The scenic area is situated in Niujiu Tun, Bamen Village, Minglun Town, Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, 45 kilometers from the county seat. This region features karst topography with towering mountains, deep valleys, and a majestic, well-preserved ecosystem. The average elevation ranges from 700 to 900 meters, with significant vertical relief. Waterfalls cascade down steep cliffs, splashing against rugged rock faces, creating a spectacular and dynamic landscape. The Phoenix Mountain Waterfall Cluster consists of a series of multi-tiered waterfalls, with eight falls within a 1,500-meter stretch, the tallest of which has a drop of at least 60 meters. The area also offers a combination of upper waterfalls and lower deep pools with crystal-clear, transparent waters that are a delight to behold. The scenic river section spans about 1 kilometer, featuring diverse and colorful landscapes along the way. The surrounding natural vegetation is well-preserved, creating a beautiful, pleasant environment with fresh air, warm winters and cool summers — a natural oxygen bar.
