Xincheng Cui Ping Shan Park

Located in Xincheng County, the park features lush forests on the mountain that resemble a natural green barrier, hence its name. It was turned into a park in 1984. Mountain paths were built and pavilions constructed to provide visitors with scenic spots for sightseeing. The main peak of the mountain stands at an elevation of 289 meters and is composed of limestone. Its shape resembles a chair situated behind the Tusi government office. With steep terrain, rugged rocks, towering ancient trees, and enchanting scenery, it is also home to many rare flowers and trees such as Golden Plum, Erythrophleum fordii, Diamond Tree, and Palm-leaf Wood. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was listed as one of the famous mountains of Qingyuan Prefecture in Guangxi and is said to be the "Dragon-Backing Hill" behind the former Tusi government office. In recent years, it has been featured in landscape films and has been shown multiple times on the Guangxi TV program “Strolling Through Guangxi.”
