Xincheng Lavender Manor Scenic Area

Xincheng Lavender Manor Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Xincheng Lavender Manor tourism project is situated in Xincheng County, Laibin City—one of the six premium tourism routes in Guangxi. With a total investment of 800 million yuan and covering an area of approximately 3,000 acres, it is a comprehensive tourism service area that combines agricultural sightseeing, a wedding photography base, a film and television shooting base, lavender deep-processing industry, a specialty economic nursery plantation, and an herb market.

As the largest herb plantation in Guangxi, the manor is planted with hundreds of herb varieties, allowing visitors to experience almost all the fragrances of the world’s herbs, among which lavender occupies the largest planting area. Currently, the main flowers cultivated in the manor include lavender, verbena, verbena bonariensis, cosmos, coreopsis, marguerite, sunflowers, and more. The manor continues to expand in scale and enhance its supporting facilities, as well as to further extend and enlarge the contiguous lavender fields, aiming to become the world’s largest contiguous lavender plantation. Upon completion of the overall project, it is expected to attract an additional 600,000 tourists per year and create over 1,200 new job opportunities.

The 2014 China Tourism Festival Guangxi venue and the main venue of the Xincheng Lavender Festival were both held at Xincheng Lavender Manor. Themed “Chasing Dreams in the Flower Sea, A Fragrant Date with Xincheng,” the Lavender Festival was a grand-scale and widely influential event, and to date, it remains the largest Lavender Festival in southern China. The event attracted tens of thousands of tourists to come and experience its joys.
