Golden Coast Sand Sculpture World is located in the middle section of the Golden Coast Tourist Area in Changli County, Qinhuangdao City, within the Golden Coast National Nature Reserve of Changli County. The coastal area features fine sandy beaches, smooth shorelines, towering sand dunes, lush green woods, and the blue sea, creating a spectacular natural landscape that is very rare in China.

The visitor center covers a construction area of 3,500 square meters, equipped with comprehensive facilities including tourist reception, tour guide services, exhibition halls, display corridors, souvenir shops, medical rooms, security offices, border police offices, and public restrooms. The Ao You Square integrates multiple functions such as themed sand sculptures, ground paving, rest pavilions, fountain landscapes, and electric vehicle parking lots. Two giant 50-meter-long flying fish sand sculptures, along with themed sand sculptures such as Shiyutai and Huadaochang along the lakeside road, form a unique sand sculpture art corridor.

At the Sand Sculpture Performance Center, you can enjoy breathtaking stunt car shows and exotic crocodile training performances. At the go-kart and all-terrain vehicle tracks, you can experience the thrill and excitement of speed.

The Six Degrees Maze and the Sand Sculpture Buddha are core attractions of the scenic area. The Sand Sculpture Maitreya Buddha is the largest sand sculpture artwork in the Golden Coast Sand Sculpture World. Maitreya is the successor to Shakyamuni Buddha. The Six Degrees Maze is formed by the six sacred characters "Namo Maitreya Buddha" and covers an area of over 3,000 square meters. The Sand Sculpture Maitreya Buddha, backed by mountains and facing the sea, stands 37 meters tall, making it the tallest sand sculpture Buddha in the world.

The Sea and Sky Hot Springs at the Sand Sculpture World is another highlight of the scenic area, combining the themes of the sea, the sky, and hot springs. The Hot Sea and Hot Sea Bio World offer visitors a completely new visual experience and leisure opportunity. Whether you’re soaking in the misty Sea and Sky Hot Springs, resting in the clubhouse or inn amidst the blend of sea and sky, or strolling through the misty Sea and Sky Leisure Street in the woods, you can relax your body and mind in nature and find it hard to leave.

Nights by the seaside are sleepless. After the fireworks and bonfire party, you can revisit classic scenes at the Sand Sculpture Cinema, enjoy a drink at the open-air beer house, sip a warm latte under candlelight, dance passionately on the light and sound stage, camp in the tent area, or take a boat ride to admire the dreamily illuminated sand sculptures.
