In the sweltering heat of July, with waves of scorching air outdoors leaving everyone drenched in sweat – just two words could describe the feeling: “intensely refreshing”! But there was a group of wonderful volunteers who, undeterred by the blazing sun, headed resolutely into the outdoors because they had spontaneously committed to a meaningful mission – cleaning the beaches and returning the ocean to its blue. On July 10th, a large-scale public environmental protection activity titled “Protect the Ocean Clean the Beaches,” initiated by Green China and co-organized by Green Field Network, was held along the coastal line of Beidaihe in Qinhuangdao. The beach cleanup effort on that day contributed approximately 400KM in charitable mileage, cleaned around 10 kilometers of coastline, collected over 60 bags of trash, and received countless thumbs up, sparking widespread discussion as well.
