Situated at Jinshanzui on the Beidaihe Beach, it is a man-made scenic area. According to historical records, in the 32nd year of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's reign (215 BC), the emperor traveled east to Jieshi and sent a Yan man named Lu Sheng to seek immortality by the sea at what is now Dongshan Park in Haigang District. Later generations built this attraction based on that account. The site mainly consists of the Que Gate, the Statue of Emperor Qin Seeking Immortality, the Warring States Culture Area, the Immortality-Seeking Hall, and the Immortal Shrine.

Transportation

Visitors arriving by train can get off at Qinhuangdao Railway Station and take municipal buses No. 7 or No. 8 directly to the entrance of the scenic area. For those driving, exit the Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway at the Qinhuangdao West Exit, follow Haiyang Road straight to South Wenhua Road, then go east at the top of South Wenhua Road onto the overpass. After exiting the overpass, continue to Nanshan Street to reach the site.
