The pagoda is divided into upper, middle, and lower levels, connected by spiral staircases between each level. It is decorated with representative animals and plants from three different environments—sky, earth, and water—showcasing unique craftsmanship and delightful charm. Inside the pagoda, there are large wood carvings titled “The Fairy of Belila” and “Liu Yi Delivers a Letter,” featuring exquisite carving and classic designs, which are rare artistic treasures. Located south of Yingjiao Stone on the Beidaihe Beach, it closely resembles an upright sea snail, making it a very unique and eye-catching sight. The Belila Pagoda stands 21 meters tall with seven levels, making it the highest point in the eastern hill area of the beach. Climbing to the top offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
