Highlights

The Asian Games Command Building is the main structure of the marine sports field. Its design is ingenious, resembling a milky-white cruise ship in shape. Surrounded by water on three sides, it looks as if it's sailing on the sea, hence it's also nicknamed the "Ship Building." The building enjoys a prime location—watching the sunrise from its third-floor platform is especially convenient. In the early morning, standing here you can take in the bustling scene at Qinhuangdao Port, people gathering seafood along the beach, fishing boats quietly setting sail, and the red sun breaking through the clouds—all in one sweeping view.   Introduction

The Qinhuangdao International Yacht Club Marine Sports Field is located on the western coast of Tanghe River estuary in Haigang District. Completed in September 1989, it hosted the sailing and windsurfing events of the 11th Asian Games.
