The Tianma Mountain Cliff Carvings are a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

Introduction

The Tianma Mountain Cliff Carvings are located at the summit of Tianma Mountain in Baijiapuzi, Funing County. Tianma Mountain lies to the west of the Yanghe Reservoir, standing tall and proud with beautiful scenery. On the mountain cliffs are large inscriptions from the Ming Dynasty, including “Tianma Soaring in the Sky,” “A Panoramic View of Mountains and Rivers,” “The Sea and Sky in Sight,” and “Boundless Mountains and Rivers.” The characters are neat in style and the strokes are vigorous and elegant.
