The Liushan Cliff Leisure Scenic Area is located in Zhongzhai Village, opposite Luoya Wharf, about 5 kilometers from the county town. Known for its four spectacular attractions—sheer cliffs, bizarre rocks, cave scenery, and ancient banyan trees—Liushan Cliff sits at the foot of towering cliffs overlooking the vast, emerald-green waters of the Rong River. With its picturesque landscape of clear mountains and beautiful waters, it has long been a cherished destination for sightseeing, leisure, and Buddhist worship.

The Liushan Cliff Scenic Area boasts uniquely beautiful scenery and is praised as a “heavenly painted cliff crafted by nature’s artistry.” It features stunning folk performances, ethnic culture shows, and delightful piglet diving acts. Taking a boat ride along the river and joining in the traditional antiphonal singing highlights the local Liu Sanjie cultural heritage, earning it the title of a “floating riverside song fair.” Activities such as high-speed rafting, water parks, water-splashing carnivals, agricultural picking, and shrimp-catching experiences are abundant and endlessly fun. The nearby AAAA-rated Qingchuncheng (Sent-down Youth City) is just across the river, and the cruise boats from Liushan offer free round-trip transport and free admission to the site.
