Changli Grape Valley is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Grape Valley is located on the slopes of Phoenix Mountain to the northwest of Changli County. Thanks to its favorable geographical location—surrounded by mountains on three sides, sheltered from the wind and facing the sun—it enjoys abundant sunlight during the day in spring, summer, and autumn. At night, due to its slightly higher elevation, temperatures are lower than those on the plains. The large diurnal temperature variation is conducive to the formation and accumulation of sugar. Coupled with high-quality water, this creates the most suitable microclimate for grape cultivation. Grapes have been grown here for 400 years. Verdant grape trellises shade a mountain path about 5 kilometers long and 4 meters wide, turning it into a “grape corridor”—the origin of the name “Grape Valley.” Within the valley, there are three century-old grapevines and three well-preserved ancient residences dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The surrounding area also features scenic spots and historical sites such as the Bangchui Mountain Stone Cave, the legendary stone pillar used by Yu the Great to control the floods, Turtle Rock, Shangyan Temple, Dingjia Mountain, Phoenix City, the ruins of an Eighth Route Army radio station from the Anti-Japanese War period, and the “Jingyu Scenery.”
