Tiger Stone Sea Park is located in the center of the Beidaihe Scenic Area, covering a total area of 33,000 square meters. The park features variously shaped reefs that resemble a group of tigers, hence the name "Tiger Stone." The magical and beautiful legend of Emperor Qin Shi Huang driving the mountains with his whip has been passed down among the people for generations. It is said that over two thousand years ago, during his eastern tour, Emperor Qin Shi Huang arrived at the coast of the Bohai Sea, only to find that high mountains blocked his way. Furious, the emperor took out his magical mountain-driving whip and struck the mountain several times. Instantly, the mountain peak flew up, and fragments of rock scattered into the air, flying eastward and westward. The emperor relentlessly pursued them until he reached this seaside, where the broken rocks had vanished. Instead, he saw a group of colorful tigers playing by the shore. Upon seeing the emperor, the tigers hastily knelt down and begged for mercy. The emperor then turned them into stone reefs, forever residing on this sandy beach. Today, these Tiger Stones have become a favorite spot for visitors. The blue sea, golden sand, and rocky reefs attract both domestic and international tourists for summer vacations and sightseeing. Countless travelers come here to play in the water, swim in the sea, and enjoy sunbathing, along with poets and painters who find inspiration. People revel in the embrace of nature, immersed in the symphony of laughter and waves. The Tiger Stones are like a shining pearl embedded on the shores of the Bohai Sea, radiating an enticing brilliance.
