The Tianma Lake Tourist Resort in Qinhuangdao City is located 9 kilometers north of Funing County in Qinhuangdao. It borders the Bohai Sea to the south and the Yanshan Mountains to the north. Rich in history and scenic beauty, and abundant in natural resources, it has served as both an ancient settlement for early humans and a strategic hub for emperors and frontier officials. For centuries, it has been a source of inspiration for poets and artists. The area also enjoys convenient transportation — the Beijing-Shenyang, Beijing-Qinhuangdao, and Daqin railway lines run east-west, while the Beijing-Shenyang Expressway and National Highways 102 and 105 crisscross the region. Key sightseeing and recreational activities in the area include the Northern Green Fruit Picking Garden, luxury cruise boats, aerial cableways, a large amusement park, Tianma Square Park, and Tianma Lake Fish Restaurant.

The Tianma Lake Tourist Resort boasts picturesque scenery where mountains, rivers, and sea converge. It lies against the Yanshan Mountains to the north and faces the Bohai Sea to the south. Transportation here is extremely convenient: the Beijing-Shenyang, Beijing-Qinhuangdao, and Daqin railway lines stretch east-west, while the Beijing-Shenyang Expressway and National Highways 102 and 105 form a network of major routes leading to various scenic spots throughout Qinhuangdao. As the saying goes, the mountains enhance the charm of the water, and the water adds grace to the mountains.
