Situated on the east side of Beishan Village in Suocheng Town, Yunfeng Villa is a garden estate themed around orchids and camellias. It combines horticultural research, agricultural industry, and tourism, and is recognized as a radiant gem of both orchid and scholarly elegance in China. The estate is home to a rich diversity of orchids, including over 100,000 pots of more than 500 domestic and international varieties. Among them are dozens of rare cultivars such as Yunlong, Yunmei, and Zhongxinggongyue, which have won dozens of gold, silver, and bronze awards at national orchid expos over the years.

Yunfeng Villa not only brings together a premier collection of both Chinese and foreign orchids and camellias but also creates an exceptional orchid garden where the fragrance of orchids meets the essence of literature. The orchid garden features hundreds of inscriptions and calligraphy works by prominent political figures such as former national leaders Zhao Puchu and others, as well as master painters and writers like Cheng Shifa, Xie Haiyan, Lai Shaoqi, Shen Peng, and Lin Yong. Together, they form China’s first orchid-themed stele forest. The site has been honored as the “China Orchid Culture Demonstration Garden” and the “Guangdong Province Science Education Base,” and was selected by the provincial tourism bureau as a “New Highlight for Holiday Sightseeing.”
