Jinrong Building

Jinrong Building is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Guangdong Province.

Jinrong Building is located in Sanzhong Village, Xinfeng Town, Raoping County. It was built in the seventh year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1729), and underwent three renovations in 1958, 1979, and 1998, with a full restoration in 2011. The building faces southeast and is circular in shape, with a diameter of 42.6 meters and an area of approximately 1,425 square meters. It features a two-courtyard enclosed structure — with a flat house at the front and a three-story building at the back. There is an inner courtyard in the center, and the entire structure is divided into 26 living units, with one well.

The gate tower and lintel are constructed of stone, with the lintel engraved with the words “Jinrong Building” and the inscription “Erected in the winter of the Yǐyǒu year of the Yongzheng reign, may the descendants of Biāo prosper forever.” The base is made of stone, and the walls are built from rammed yellow earth, with interior walls coated in plaster and a gray tile roof. The building retains its basic structure, has distinctive features, and holds certain historical value. It was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site in October 2011.
