Yongshan Donghua Building

Yongshan Donghua Building is a cultural heritage site protected by Raoping County.

Yongshan Donghua Building is located in Yongshan Village, Shangrao Town, Raoping County, and was built in 1952. It faces west and is circular in shape, with a diameter of 35 meters and an area of 962 square meters. The structure features a two-courtyard enclosed building, with a single-story front section and a two-story rear section. There is an inner courtyard in the center, and the building contains 22 rooms in total, one well, and a gatehouse constructed from blue bricks. The walls have stone bases and are built with field soil, featuring gray tiled roofs with overhanging eaves. Currently well-preserved, it is a typical example of early People’s Republic of China-era tulou architecture and holds research value for modern Hakka tulou structures. In April 2011, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the Raoping County People's Government.
