Beidaihe Walking Trail

The Walking Trail was first built in 2009, stretching from Gechi Road in the west to Jinshazui on Donghaitan Road. Along the way, it passes numerous attractions such as the Biluota Park, the Tourist Wharf, the Pigeon Nest Park, the Beidaihe Wetland Bird Protection Base, and the Bird Museum. The sea, the blue sky, the sandy beach, stone sculptures, and green pines complement the Walking Trail, forming a beautiful impression of Beidaihe.

The Walking Trail is 3,350 meters long and only about one meter wide. Its winding and undulating path is made up of stone slabs, pebble stones, and wooden planks. Located away from vehicle lanes, it offers a safe walking environment. In summer, the trail is lined with vibrant flowers, lush plants, and towering green trees, while the fresh air creates a natural oxygen bar—making it an ideal spot for fitness and wellness. The roadside is equipped with resting benches and restrooms, as well as educational plaques and stone carvings about walking, inspiring reflection and motivating people to keep moving forward for better health. This is the first meticulously designed and well-packaged walking trail in China. It features lighting in the evening and volunteer service stations during the summer, offering a human touch and warm experience to all visitors.

Getting There: Visitors arriving at Qinhuangdao Railway Station can take Bus No. 34 and get off at Gechi Road to reach the trail.
