Xingwei Tower

Xingwei Tower is a cultural heritage site protected by Raoping County.

Xingwei Tower is located in Xilou Village, Fubin Town, Raoping County, and was built during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period. It faces east and is circular in shape, with a diameter of 60 meters and an area of 2,827 square meters. It features two concentric enclosures: the inner ring has a row of single-story rooms at the front and a two-story building at the back, divided into 26 rooms in total, with an inner courtyard in the center and one well. The outer ring consists of a two-story building divided into 48 rooms, with a stone gate and gate lintel. The lintel is inscribed with the name “Xingwei Tower.” The walls are made of lime-sand bricks and the roof is covered with gray tiles. This tower is relatively large in scale, retains a good basic structure, and holds certain historical value. In April 2011, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the People’s Government of Raoping County.
