The Former Residence of the Deputy Commissioner of the Chaozhou Customs at Queshi is located at No. 15, Doctors' Top, Queshi Subdistrict, Haojiang District. It dates back to the Republican era and is classified as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

On March 22, 2010, the Former Residence of the Deputy Commissioner of the Chaozhou Customs at Queshi was designated as a cultural relics protection unit of Shantou City.

Queshi Subdistrict: Queshi Subdistrict is located in the northwest of Haojiang District, Shantou City. It borders Haocheng to the east and faces Shantou Port to the north. It is a newly formed subdistrict resulting from the merger of the former Queshi Subdistrict and Zhuyuan Subdistrict, covering an area of 35.9 square kilometers. It administers 17 community neighborhood committees: Zhupu, Gechen, Gezhu, Maonan, Maobei, Toucun, Zhongcun, Weicun, Quju, Hongguang, Hongqi, Hongxing, Leikou, Mianhua, Songshan, Wotou, and Xunhui, with a total population of 55,670.
