Jifa Agricultural Sightseeing Park

Jifa Agricultural Sightseeing Park is affiliated with Beidaihe Jifa Industrial Corporation. Covering an area of 1,500 acres, it is an ecological agricultural sightseeing park integrating sightseeing, accommodation, dining, shopping, and entertainment. In 2002, the park was rated as a National AAAA-level Agricultural Sightseeing Park, and in 2004, it was recognized as a “National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site.” It was also designated as a base for technology demonstration, scientific talent introduction, and science education by 13 departments including the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

In 1994, Jifa Industrial Corporation built the Jifa Park on the foundation of its vegetable production base, following the high-efficiency agriculture development plans of the district Party committee and government. Leveraging its locational and resource advantages and targeting tourism market needs, the park started by introducing and cultivating specialty vegetables and fruits. It has continuously applied high-tech methods such as soilless cultivation and plant tissue culture to vigorously develop specialty agriculture and sightseeing agriculture. The park features the world’s longest loofah arbor and China’s widest solar greenhouse. The botanical garden showcases over a thousand varieties of premium flowers, while the Vegetable Garden allows visitors to experience the wonders of high-tech agriculture like vertical planting and soilless cultivation. The Traditional Folk Courtyard recreates the scenes of daily life and production in the 1950s and 1960s, and visitors can also enjoy authentic rural cuisine at the uniquely themed farmhouse restaurant. Jifa Agricultural Sightseeing Park is a favorite tourist destination for both domestic and international visitors.
