Ziyunshan Ski Resort is located in Chenzhuang Village, Beiman Port Town, the beautiful coastal city of Qinhuangdao, just 7 kilometers from downtown. It takes only 20 minutes to reach the resort by taking Bus No. 26 from Qinhuangdao Maternal and Child Health Hospital.

Ziyunshan Ski Resort was established in October 2005. It usually operates from mid to late November every year until mid to late March of the following year. The resort utilizes two imported snowmaking systems to ensure ample snow supply during winter. By November 2009, the second phase of the resort had been successfully completed. In addition to the two intermediate slopes, one beginner slope, and one snow tubing slope from the first phase, a new professional ski run and a beginner slope were added, bringing the total length of ski runs to over 2 kilometers and the area to more than 150,000 square meters. The resort can accommodate over 5,000 visitors daily. There are two high-safety tow lifts alongside the ski runs, along with a newly added magic carpet. The resort features an 80-meter vertical drop, a maximum slope of 26 degrees, clearly defined terrain variations, and open views, making it suitable for both beginners and professional training.

In 2009, Ziyunshan Ski Resort partnered with the city’s key amateur sports school to establish the Qinhuangdao Ski Team. As the only ski training base in Qinhuangdao, the resort is responsible for daily ski instruction, training, athlete selection, and provides high-quality facilities and services.

In addition to skiing, the resort offers a variety of activities and leisure options including snowmobile rides, dog sledding, snow tubing, snow cycling, snow play castles, snow zorbing, as well as CS field combat training and corporate team-building programs. Year-round Mongolian yurt-style barbecues are also available.

Through continuous improvement, Ziyunshan Ski Resort now provides thoughtful service, a wide range of activities, abundant ski equipment, and amenities such as restaurants, meeting rooms, and rest areas to meet the needs of visitors from the city and surrounding areas. In addition to serving daily ski guests, the resort can also host large gatherings, banquets, conferences, recreational events, and competitions for organizations and groups.
