Qinhuangdao Port Historic Architecture Complex

The Qinhuangdao Port Historic Architecture Complex is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The historic architecture of Qinhuangdao Port was built in the late 19th century and includes docks, breakwaters, loading and unloading machinery and equipment, as well as work and living quarters for management personnel at all levels. Currently, a total of 17 sites have been designated as provincial-level cultural heritage protection units, 13 of which belong to Qinhuangdao Port. Most of these buildings are well preserved. The port authorities have a clear inventory of these structures, and have rescued and preserved a large amount of written and photographic material. They have also begun preparations to establish the Qinhuangdao Port Museum.

In May 2013, the Qinhuangdao Port Historic Architecture Complex was listed as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
