Yangshan Park in Hengdong County is located by the Mi River on the west side of Hengdong County’s Chengguan Town, at the head of Hengdong Bridge, adjacent to the under-development Hengdong West River New District. Everywhere in Yangshan Park is meticulously crafted greenery — the clean and beautiful park is like a bathed maiden whose gentleness you simply can’t resist. Climbing the mere hundred-meter-high Yangshan and looking into the distance, buildings and trees and flowers complement one another, while pruned trees in unique shapes line both sides of the road.

In recent years, based on the original planning and design, Yangshan Park has adjusted, renovated, improved, and upgraded its green spaces, scenic spots, and facilities.

Strolling atop Yangshan, the scenery changes with every step. Whenever you reach an open area, you can fully enjoy the beauty at the foot of Yangshan. Gazing into the distance, the clear Mishui River surrounds our home — Hengdong County. Three bridges span the Mishui, bringing the county closer to the outside world, with ceaseless traffic of vehicles and people. Rows of densely packed buildings and the under-development West River New District all bear witness to Hengdong’s growth and transformation. Reaching another hilltop of Yangshan and watching people who are enjoying the scenery within the scenery offers yet another kind of pleasure. The riverside park provides Hengdong residents with a place to relax and have fun.

Yangshan Park is adjacent to Hengdong County. The park entrance is located beside Provincial Highway 315, about 1 kilometer from Hengdong County heading toward Hengyang. The riverside square on the opposite bank of the Mi River offers parking.
