Shaoshan Railway Station

Shaoshan Railway Station is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Shaoshan City.

Shaoshan Railway Station, constructed in 1967, is situated on Chezhan Road, Chezhan Community, Qingxi Town, in the city center of Shaoshan. It is a third-class station linked to Matopu Station on the Xiangqian Railway. The station occupies a total area of 154,078 square meters, with a building area of 17,817 square meters, living space covering 5,943 square meters, and production facilities spanning 9,574 square meters. The main structure faces northwest and is situated southeast, built with a brick-concrete structure. It stands 50 meters directly in front of the statue of the young Mao Zedong in Shaoshan. The main building has two floors, and a portrait of Chairman Mao is hung on the front facade. It is 21 kilometers away from Xiangsha Station and is currently under the administration of the Loudi Operation Section of Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corporation.

Freight: Handles the dispatch and arrival of full carload and less-than-carload freight; dangerous goods are limited to pesticides and fertilizers only. Passenger service: Currently suspended.

Current status: Well-preserved, structurally stable, and largely maintaining its original appearance.
