The Wugang Revolutionary History Memorial Hall is located on Chenghao Road in the city center of Wugang, covering an area of over 500 square meters. The memorial hall is divided into four exhibition rooms, displaying the revolutionary history of the people of Wugang from 1919 to 1956 through five aspects: the rise of the workers' and peasants' revolutionary movement, the unquenchable spark, Wugang during the War of Resistance, the final battle before dawn, and the new dawn of Wugang. It systematically and in detail records the heroic struggle of the people of Wugang in overthrowing the “three big mountains” of imperialism, feudalism, and bureaucratic capitalism under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party. Their successive efforts and bloody battles have left behind moving and glorious achievements.

The museum combines images, text, and artifacts, making it an excellent site for commemorating revolutionary martyrs and educating future generations. The Wugang Municipal Party Committee and Government have designated it as a base for revolutionary tradition education and patriotic education. The historical memorial hall is a public welfare institution for veteran support, managed by the Wugang Civil Affairs Bureau, with the Office of the Wugang Old Revolutionary Base Area located here. The Revolutionary History Memorial Hall, situated at the highest point of the Daputai Development Zone in Wugang City, boasts a majestic presence, classical style, breathtaking scenery, and superior geographical conditions.

The main structure of the museum adopts a classical Chinese architectural style, with a tall, upright, and solemn appearance. Its roof is covered with gleaming golden glazed tiles, and its upturned eaves at the four corners resemble hooks, giving off a radiant splendor. Decorative railings and painted beams add vibrant colors, while the green belts are filled with lush grass and blooming flowers, making visitors feel lifted above the mundane and reluctant to leave. The entire architectural project integrates classical beauty with structural aesthetics, offering great value for sightseeing and appreciation. Adjacent to the memorial hall is a white marble city-establishment monument that features a novel and elegant design with a simple and beautiful shape. From the Revolutionary History Memorial Hall and the city-establishment monument, one can overlook the entire cityscape of Wugang.
