"Dream Cosmos Garden" Blooms in Full Glory – Create Beautiful Memories with Your Dog

Enjoying a sea of flowers in the cool autumn season is a wonderful way to relax. Recently, a pet owner in Japan took their two beloved dogs to visit the "Dream Cosmos Garden" in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, to admire the beautiful cosmos and sunflower fields. The area also hosted a creative scarecrow competition, where many unique and adorable scarecrows stood alongside the flower beds—truly a delightful sight.

This "Dream Cosmos Garden" is one of the largest flower gardens in Kameoka City and the Kansai region, featuring about 8 million cosmos flowers across 20 varieties. When in full bloom, the entire field turns into a dreamy expanse of pink. Additionally, the site hosts a creative scarecrow competition, along with local delicacies and fresh produce available for purchase.

The owner of the Shiba Inu Komomo and the mixed-breed dog Saishuu had taken them on a trip together last year. At the end of September this year, they returned with their furry companions once again. However, this time they visited a bit earlier, so the flowers hadn’t fully bloomed yet—only small patches were in full display. Though slightly less than perfect, the two dogs still had a great time, smiling brightly in every photo.

The "Dream Cosmos Garden" is open from September 21 to November 4, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is located east of the Kameoka Sports Park Gymnasium and is accessible by train and bus. Admission is 600 yen (about NT$180) for visitors aged middle school and above, 500 yen (about NT$150) on weekdays, and 300 yen (about NT$90) for elementary school students and dogs.
