Tongbao Mountain Stone Carvings is a cultural tourism attraction.

Tongbao Mountain, also known as Tongbao Rock, is located in Xindong Township, about 2.5 kilometers north of the city. The mountain rises abruptly in a conical shape, with jagged stone forests dotting its slopes and lush greenery all around. It boasts numerous historical sites and scenic spots, including the Ancient Immortal Temple where the daughter of Fan Li, a top general of the Yue State during the Spring and Autumn Period, is said to have hidden, the Marshal’s Rock where Liu Buhua, the governor of Wugang Road during the Yuan Dynasty, stationed his troops in the 28th year of the Zhi Zheng era (1368 AD), and the study site of Cao Yikui, an imperial censor during the Ming Dynasty under Emperor Shenzong. Natural attractions include the Nine-Tone Rock, where underground streams flow and produce sounds resembling bells, gongs, chimes, and singing bowls, and the Bottomless River, a spring that gushes like a stream, is unfathomably deep, and winds through a jungle of stone stalagmites and dense woods.

There are over 30 stone inscriptions and poems, with notable ones including: the “Wugang Inscription” written by Liu Zongyuan in April of the 7th year of the Yuanhe era (812 AD); the cliff engraving “Xi Yao Bi Yu” signed by Wang Anshi with the alias “Ban Shan,” each character measuring one square foot, displaying powerful brushstrokes that remain clearly visible. There are also poetic inscriptions by scholars from various dynasties.
