Xizhi Street Historical and Cultural Block

Centered around Xizhi Street as the east-west axis, this densely populated area of traditional dwellings covers traditional residential areas such as Qingfeng Lane, Muhuo Lane, Shoufo Temple Lane, Yan Pond, and Anyuan Lane, spanning an area of 16.45 hectares. It mainly features characteristic residential-commercial buildings from the late Qing and early Republican periods, reflecting a blend of small-scale commerce and handicrafts. Major lost structures include Zhang Family Garden, City God Temple, Guerrilla Office, Tianhou Palace, Jiangxi Guild Hall, Sanyi Palace, Shoufo Temple, Baoying Temple, Shoushu Office, Catholic Church, Sanhuang Hall, and Xianjin Palace. Thirteen cultural heritage sites are preserved, including Qingcheng Gate, Tongchun Archway, Gong Family Courtyard, Tang Family Courtyard, Zhang Family Ancestral Hall, and the Provincial Administration Commissioner's Office, along with 41 key protected courtyard complexes.
