The Golden Dragon Gorge Eco Rafting Tourist Area is located in the southwestern border region of Hunan Province, at the junction of Jinlong Township and Ruoshui Town in Huitong County. It is about 32 kilometers from Huitong County and 12 kilometers from Hongjiang District, covering an area of approximately 23 square kilometers. To the east of the gorge runs the Hongjing National Defense Highway, while to the west the Zhiliu Railway and National Highway 209 pass by side by side, offering extremely convenient transportation.

This gorge is a deep, narrow valley stretching about 13 kilometers, featuring crisscrossing ravines, layered peaks, steep cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush trees—boasting an exceptionally superior natural ecological landscape. The tourist area is distributed ribbon-like along the gorge and boasts an extraordinarily rich variety of scenic resources. A range of tourism activities have been developed here, including leisure rafting, green ecology experiences, farmhouse entertainment, and weekend getaways. Among them, the Golden Dragon Gorge Canyon Rafting has been initially developed and established, gaining considerable popularity and influence in the surrounding source markets, and has become one of the main rafting tourism destinations in Huaihua City.

The Golden Dragon Gorge Rafting is characterized by large drops between rapids and high waves, offering both thrilling excitement and endless fun.
