Tianxing Cave

Located at the foot of Dongshan Mountain to the north of Huaihua City, it is 10 kilometers from the city center. The three caves are connected in a triangular pattern, with the farthest distance between them being 10 meters. The South Cave is the largest, standing 6–10 meters high, 25–30 meters wide, and 70–90 meters long. A small hole in the front part of the cave’s ceiling penetrates the ground, allowing sunlight to stream in and create a magical twinkling starlight effect—hence the name Tianxing Cave. To the north are two more caves: the left cave stands 2–6 meters high, is about 100 meters long, and 15–20 meters wide, featuring a forest of stunning stalactites in various shapes; the right cave is the smallest, about 5 meters high and 20 meters long, and boasts the spectacular sight of a cave waterfall.
