Xiangzhou Square has added 7,000 square meters of green space to Huaihua City, creating another beautiful ecological landscape for the urban area. It is the largest open urban square in the city center, integrating leisure, sightseeing, entertainment, and fitness. The design and construction of the hybrid rice culture pillars in the square vividly showcase the brilliant history of scientists, represented by Yuan Longping, who successfully researched and invented hybrid rice in Huaihua. This adds an important cultural landmark to the city. The fountain square surrounded by the culture pillars features "myriad forms of water," with a central water jet reaching 30 meters high, while the surrounding smaller fountains can "dance" to the rhythm of music.
