Huaihua Museum

Huaihua Museum, located in Hecheng District, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, is situated at No. 350 Yingfeng Middle Road, next to Xiangzhou Bridge, and opposite Huaihua No. 3 Middle School, Yingfeng Road Primary School, and the old sports stadium.

The exhibition building of Huaihua Museum commenced construction in October 1984, was completed in 1985, and officially opened to the public on February 6 of the following year. In April 1992, a root carving gallery was additionally built.

Huaihua Museum houses a collection of over 15,000 cultural relics and artifacts, including 1,330 classified as precious, most of which were unearthed from underground sites in the region or collected from the public.

The museum has published Introduction to Huaihua Museum and has also conducted valuable research on the revolutionary history and ethnic minority history of the area, publishing dozens of academic articles in provincial-level and higher newspapers and journals.

Currently open to the public free of charge, the museum is accessible every Wednesday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00. Visitors can obtain entry tickets by presenting valid IDs such as student cards.
