Tuojiang River Stilt Houses
The stilt houses are one of the ancient architectural complexes in Fenghuang Ancient Town that showcase rich Miao ethnic building characteristics.
· After Fenghuang Ancient Town began developing tourism, residents of the stilt houses renovated their homes to welcome visitors.
· The best spots to view the stilt houses are around Shawan area or while sitting on a wooden boat on the Tuojiang River.
