Laho is part of the Phoenix Miao Ethnic Township Scenic Area and is developed and operated by Fenghuang Mingcheng Construction (Investment) Co., Ltd.

For a long time, Fenghuang, as a national historical and cultural city, one of China’s first top-tier tourism counties, and a national 4A-level scenic spot, had relied entirely on the ancient city of Fenghuang as its tourism backbone. With the introduction of Phoenix Miao Ethnic Township, Fenghuang's tourism now has a well-rounded foundation, achieving a comprehensive upgrade from single points to an integrated experience.

Laho is located along the folk culture tourism route of Phoenix Miao Ethnic Township. The Yingpan Miao Village is situated in Laho Yingpan Township, Laho Village, Dulixiang, Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. During the Qing Dynasty, it served as a highly important military outpost along the “Miao Frontier Wall.” The village is surrounded by verdant mountains, and features exquisitely laid-out ancient stone paths, uniform blue-tiled walls, and a maze of winding, secluded alleys.
