Liubo Martyrs' Cemetery of the People's Liberation Army is located on the right side of Liuyihe Highway near Liubo Village, Liubo Township, facing west. In 1951, during the pursuit of the stubborn bandit Long Zuojin, Squad Leader Ou Guanghui of a company from the 23rd Independent Regiment of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army was unfortunately shot and killed. In accordance with his last will, he was buried here. The site is now well-preserved. In 1961, it was designated as a prefectural-level cultural relic protection unit by the state government.

Liubo Township: Liang Township, Liubo Township, and Heku Town were merged to form Heku Town.

Liubo Township is located in the northern part of Fenghuang County, 59 kilometers from the county seat. The township covers a total area of 46.2 square kilometers and governs 11 villages and 53 villager groups. In 2005, the township had a total of 1,778 households and 7,855 people, of whom 7,848 were ethnic Miao, with an annual natural population growth rate of 12%. The cultivated land area of the township is 11,651 mu, including 5,520 mu of paddy fields and 6,131 mu of dry land.
